The best hotel I have ever stayed in, located right in the heart of Liverpool above the cavan club, the Beetles theme's are ace and will defo be back for another stay soon.
No car park, lighting very poor in room and reading lamp did not work.breakfast was okay but had chipped and cracked cups, did not expect to have to check for this in what was a quite expensive hotel. When staff had cleaned the brass they had not buffed it properly and I had black marks on my hands from it.Was also downgraded!!!
excellent staff, location, comfortable room. great memories of the beatles at there best
It was different to the average city hotel with it's theme & the location is great right by Liverpool 1 with the shops & restaurants loved our stay.
Slightly noisy room at night overlooked the street outside
Staff was great. They went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. My camera charger did not work with the converter that was available. We made this discovery around midnight. We were scheduled for the Magical Mystery Tour for the Beatles the next morning. We checked with the front desk and through some exceptional persistence from the employee, a converter that worked was delivered to our door! Our room, on the fifth floor, had a balcony and was more than we expected! We actually had a luxurious bathroom with a separate bath tub, rainforest shower head, fluffy white bath robes, and Hard Day's Night slippers to match. Very nice and we are picky! This accomodation was a Luxury Suite and we loved the ambience!!!! The location is perfect! It is just around the corner from The Cavern and walking distance from Albert Dock, shopping, and restaurants....Well worth a trip to Liverpool!
The Full English Breakfast was too expensive and rather sparse for the amount paid. This is just information,,,,,you still might want to consider it due to the convenience.
You breath The Beatles!!! It`s very close to The Cavern!
I`ve never seen a rude doorman like that!!!!! And the hotel dont have a parking lot! You have to park your car in a very expensive parking lot farway (if you have heavy luggage it look likes you have to run a marathone!!!)
too expensive for such a small room , considering it was meant to be a luxury room
superb location in the heart of this very lively city, hotel interior with all its beatles links and history is a must for any fab four fans
It was lovely to have all scousers working at this Liverpool iconic hotel. They were friendly and informative.I have to say that the breakfast was a little disappointing, lots of choice, but the hot buffet was barely warm, and cheap sausages are a no no, sorry!
I found it really awkwad to open the door with the touch pad,it was a nightmare when you have luggage
Bar was pleasant and quiet, staff were pleasant and when my daughter asked for a j20 a drink the hotel do not stock the bar staff offered to mix one for her using fruit juices, which my daughter said was a really nice drink.
Hotel room itself was tatty. cushions had holes in then furniture was really dirty. for a hotel of its reputation, I was bitterly dissapointed and I would not recommend this hotel. I did make a formal complaint before I left, but whilst they are all very nice when you make the complaint in the hotel, your forgotten the minute you walk out the door. I wont be staying here again.
The atmosphere and the ambiance. The surrounding and the friendly staff.
The fact that we had to evacuate on saturday lunch for a power cut!
nice, peaceful, chilled out vibe about the place.
I did think some of the reception staff were a bit dismissive and I have to say the same for the concierge. Breakfast was a bit hectic. It didn't impact on our stay but worth mentioning.
We love staying at this hotel, it is our 4th visit since they opened in Feb 2008. However this time we had a luxury room (324) at the rear of the hotel and it was massive and also the main attraction was how quiet it was. Fantastic stay!!! The Christmas tree and decs were fabulous too.
The central lokation, the design and the comfort.
